Visit by Judith Hilton from Spain

 

We welcomed a return visitor on Monday 20 April.   Nothing unusual perhaps, but Judith Hilton was visiting from her home in Spain.

Judith first came to the centre in 2012 where she had arranged to meet Alan Holcroft and his wife Ruth, regular visitors and supporters of LFHHS for several years.

Alan and Judith have ancestral ties, a common ancestor - Ralph Tinsley, born in Woodhouse, Wigan around 1777.  This discovery was made some years ago by Alan with the help of John Tunnicliff, one of the Research Centre’s volunteers, following which contact was made and a continuing relationship formed.
